Texas High School Basketball - Georgetown nips Cedar Park
December 7, 2024: Cedar Park, TX 78613 In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Georgetown Eagles basketball team scored a close 47-40 triumph over the Cedar Park Timberwolves.
The Eagles (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers go into the non-league contest with a 14-1 record. In their last contest, Liberty Hill nipped Argyle (Argyle, TX), 31-29, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Timberwolves battle the Hays Hawks (Buda, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 25 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Cedar Park will attempt to better on its 12-3 season record. The Hawks go into the contest with a 7-7 record after their 48-33 non-league loss to Westmoore (Oklahoma City, OK).
