With the victory, Georgetown upgrades its record to 25-4 on the year. The Eagles host Elgin (Elgin, TX) to face the Wildcats in a 5A Region III District 23 match on Monday, January 20. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 6-24. Elgin lost 68-10 in their recent league match against Weiss (Pflugerville, TX)
The Patriots now sport a 8-21 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pflugerville for a 5A Region III District 23 match on Tuesday, January 21. East View will face a Panthers squad coming off a 61-47 league win over Pflugerville Connally (Austin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 13-14.
