Louisiana High School Basketball - New Iberia nips Jennings
December 7, 2024: New Iberia, LA 70560 In Saturday's non-league contest, the host New Iberia Yellowjackets basketball team scored a close 42-39 triumph over the Jennings Bulldogs.
The Yellowjackets (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league contest with a 5-3 record. In their last contest, St. Thomas More nipped Opelousas (Opelousas, LA), 57-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Mamou Demons (Mamou, LA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 9. Jennings will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Demons go into the contest with a 4-6 record after their 36-24 non-league loss to Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA).
