Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host La Joya Coyotes (La Joya, TX), 46-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Sinton upgrades its record to 10-6 on the year. The Pirates travel to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 1-4. Aransas Pass lost 61-26 in their recent non-league match against Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX)

The Coyotes now sport a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host La Feria for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 10. La Joya will face a Lions squad coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Harvest Christian (Edinburg, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-4.
