Texas High School Basketball - San Diego thwarts Sinton
December 28, 2024: San Diego, TX 78384 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the San Diego Vaqueros (San Diego, TX) and the visiting Sinton Pirates (Sinton, TX), observed San Diego's basketball team knock off Sinton by a score of 58-46.
The Vaqueros (14-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Santa Gertrudis Academy (Kingsville, TX). The Lions come into the 3A Region IV District 30 challenge with a 5-12 record. In their last challenge, Santa Gertrudis Academy prevailed over Falfurrias (Falfurrias, TX), 51-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Odem Owls (Odem, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 28. Sinton will attempt to improve on its 17-7 season record. The Owls come into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 65-16 league loss to Aransas Pass (Aransas Pass, TX).
