Lubbock Christian Eagles (Lubbock, TX) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Portales Rams (Portales, NM), 55-52 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Lubbock Christian advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to New Home (New Home, TX) to meet the Leopards in a non-league match on Saturday, December 7. The Leopards enter the match with a record of 9-3. New Home won 57-42 in their recent non-league match against Portales (Portales, NM)

The Rams now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Liberty for a non-league match on Thursday, December 12. Portales will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 68-33 non-league win over Muleshoe (Muleshoe, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 2-7.
