In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Taft Eagles basketball team scored a good 52-34 triumph over the Niles West Wolves.

The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles go into the Chicago Public - Red Shield contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Jones was toppled by Westinghouse (Chicago, IL), 51-47, in a league contest.
