Texas High School Basketball - Reagan nips Smithson Valley

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Reagan Rattlers basketball team scored a close 33-27 triumph over the Smithson Valley Rangers.

The Rattlers (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Clark (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region IV District 27 contest with a 5-10 record. In their last contest, Clark was tipped by Steele (Cibolo, TX), 44-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Boerne Greyhounds (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 contest, on Tuesday, December 10. Smithson Valley will attempt to better on its 7-12 season record. The Greyhounds go into the contest with a 7-9 record after their 45-41 non-league loss to Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX).
