The Sheridan Generals basketball squad (Thornville, OH), was nudged 41-38 in Saturday's league battle with the host Tri-Valley Scotties (Dresden, OH)

With the victory, Tri-Valley advances its record to 3-1 on the year. The Scotties host John Glenn (New Concord, OH) to meet the Little Muskies in a Muskingum Valley battle on Wednesday, December 11. The Little Muskies enter the battle with a record of 3-2. John Glenn lost 43-41 in their recent non-league battle against Warren (Vincent, OH)

The Generals now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Frye for a non-league battle on Sunday, December 8. Sheridan will meet a Cadets squad coming off a 61-17 non-league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV). The Cadets record now stands at 2-1.
