The Canby Cougars basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting Southridge Skyhawks to 68 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Cougars now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McNary for a non-league contest on Friday, December 10.

The Skyhawks (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Scappoose (Scappoose, OR). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Scappoose ran past Astoria (Astoria, OR), 46-34, in a non-league contest.
