Buffalo Bison (Buffalo, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX), 45-40 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Buffalo upgrades its record to 1-9 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Iola (Iola, TX) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Tigers play the Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 bout, on Friday, December 9. Trinity will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Fighting Owls come into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to Dawson (Dawson, TX).
