The Centerville Tigers basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Trinity Tigers to 27 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Centerville will meet a Bison team coming off a 57-43 non-league win over Dawson (Dawson, TX). The Bison record now stands at 4-9.

The Tigers (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Groveton (Groveton, TX). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 8-6 record. In their last contest, Groveton ran past Spurger (Spurger, TX), 53-47, in a non-league contest.
