January 6, 2023: Trinity, TX 75862 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) and the visiting Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX), saw Trinity's basketball squad overcome Anderson-Shiro by a tally of 54-44.
With the victory, Trinity improves its record to 3-13 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Tarkington (Cleveland, TX) to confront the Longhorns in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 10-13. Tarkington won 43-34 in their recent league challenge against Onalaska (Onalaska, TX)
Next up, the Fighting Owls confront the Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans (Coldspring, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Anderson-Shiro will attempt to improve on its 6-16 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 11-9 record after their 54-45 league loss to New Waverly (New Waverly, TX).
