The Desert Vista Thunder basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), dropped 61-48 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ)

The Scorpions now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Canyon View for a 5A Desert West battle on Wednesday, December 14.

The Thunder (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Central battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Queen Creek dropped by North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ), 59-36, in a non-league battle.
