December 8, 2022: Gowanda, NY 14070 In Thursday's non-league outing, the Gowanda Panthers (Gowanda, NY) basketball squad felled the visiting Griffith Institute Griffins (Springville, NY), by a margin of 52-44.
The Panthers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Silver Creek (Silver Creek, NY). The Black Knights go into the Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus Central outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Silver Creek thwarted Pine Valley Central (South Dayton, NY), 79-37, in a non-league outing.
The Griffins now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Global Concepts for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 13.
