The Wheeler Mustangs basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting McLean Tigers to 46 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Texline for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Wheeler will battle a Tornadoes team coming off a 57-54 non-league win over Follett (Follett, TX). The Tornadoes record now stands at 8-2.

The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against White Deer (White Deer, TX). The Bucks enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, White Deer ran past Fort Elliott (Briscoe, TX), 47-31, in a non-league contest.
