The Weslaco Panthers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Sharyland Rattlers to 43 in the Panthers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pioneer for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Weslaco will battle a Diamondbacks team coming off a 59-51 non-league win over Hanna (Brownsville, TX). The Diamondbacks record now stands at 7-8.
