The Vela Sabercats tipped the visiting Sharyland Rattlers basketball team by a final score of 45-42 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Sabercats face the Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 game, on Friday, December 16. Vela will attempt to move on its 10-11 season record.
