The Valley View Tigers basketball team (Pharr, TX), was overwhelmed 63-31 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Vela Sabercats (Edinburg, TX)

The Sabercats now possess a 11-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rowe for a 5A Region IV District 31 battle on Tuesday, December 20. Vela will confront a Warriors team coming off a 91-41 league win over Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest (Pharr, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.

The Tigers (5-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sharyland (Mission, TX). The Rattlers come into the 5A Region IV District 31 battle with a 3-12 record.
