Fans at Friday's league challenge between the McAllen Bulldogs (McAllen, TX) and the host Valley View Tigers (Pharr, TX), saw McAllen's basketball squad wallop Valley View by a tally of 63-36.

With the victory, McAllen improves its record to 10-14 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Rowe (McAllen, TX) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 12-12. Rowe won 76-58 in their recent league challenge against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo North (Pharr, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 31 challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 5-15 season record.
