Illinois High School Basketball - De La Salle nips Rosary

December 8, 2022: Chicago, IL 60616

De La Salle Meteors (Chicago, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rosary Royals (Aurora, IL), 50-44 in a league bout.

With the win, De La Salle upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Meteors travel to Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL) to play the Meteors in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Meteors go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Thornton Fractional North lost 54-53 in their recent league bout against Oak Forest (Oak Forest, IL)

Next up, the Royals play the St. Francis Spartans (Wheaton, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. Rosary will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 50-44 non-league win over Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL).
