The York Falcons basketball team (Yorktown, VA), was nudged 64-59 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA)

The Trojans now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Smithfield for a Bay Rivers contest on Friday, December 9. New Kent will meet a Packers team coming off a 60-52 league loss to Tabb (Yorktown, VA). The Packers record now stands at 1-2.

The Falcons (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Lakeland was nudged by Manor (Portsmouth, VA), 62-38, in a non-league contest.
