Illinois High School Basketball - Pana nips Staunton
December 8, 2022: Pana, IL 62557 Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Staunton Bulldogs (Staunton, IL), 79-77 in a league bout.
With the victory, Pana upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Greenville (Greenville, IL) to play the Comets in a South Central bout on Monday, December 12. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 5-4.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a South Central bout, on Monday, December 12. Staunton will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Vandals come into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 55-23 league win over Litchfield (Litchfield, IL).
