Illinois High School Basketball - Pana overwhelms Gillespie
February 9, 2023: Pana, IL 62557 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Pana Panthers (Pana, IL) and the visiting Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL), saw Pana's basketball squad wallop Gillespie by a tally of 51-30.
With the victory, Pana improves its record to 21-9 on the campaign.
Next up, the Miners confront the Southwestern Piasa Birds (Piasa, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Gillespie will attempt to improve on its 16-15 season record. The Piasa Birds come into the challenge with a 4-22 record after their 61-23 league loss to Vandalia (Vandalia, IL).
