The Southern Guilford Storm basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Rockingham County Cougars to 50 in the Storm non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Guilford for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 13. Southern Guilford will battle a Rams team coming off a 59-31 non-league win over Eastern Guilford (Gibsonville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-1.

The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Ben L. Smith ran past Atkins (Winston-Salem, NC), 62-36, in a non-league contest.
