Alabama High School Basketball - Ashville crushes Weaver
December 8, 2023: Ashville, AL 35953 Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Weaver Bearcats (Weaver, AL), 76-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Ashville upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-7. Cedar Bluff won 71-45 in their recent league bout against Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL)
Next up, the Bearcats play the Ohatchee Indians (Ohatchee, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Weaver will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 50-48 non-league loss to Pleasant Valley (Jacksonville, AL).
