The North Star Cougars (Boswell, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA), 64-36 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cougars (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Berlin Brothersvalley (Berlin, PA). The Mountaineers go into the Inter County - West test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Berlin Brothersvalley walloped Windber (Windber, PA), 86-48, in a non-league test.

The Vikings now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Ferndale for a Western Pennsylvania - Southern test on Wednesday, December 13.
