Texas High School Basketball - Borden County nips Ropes
December 8, 2023: Gail, TX 79738 Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX), 63-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Borden County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Sundown (Sundown, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Roughnecks go into the bout with a record of 0-5. Sundown lost 52-28 in their recent non-league bout against Farwell (Farwell, TX)
Next up, the Eagles play the New Deal Lions (New Deal, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Ropes will attempt to upgrade on its 11-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 84-65 non-league win over Cross Plains (Cross Plains, TX).
