Texas High School Basketball - Borden County tops Robert Lee
December 7, 2023: Gail, TX 79738 Borden County Coyotes (Gail, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Robert Lee Steers (Robert Lee, TX), 52-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Borden County upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Sundown (Sundown, TX) to play the Roughnecks in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Roughnecks come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Sundown lost 64-39 in their recent non-league bout against Fort Sumner/House (Fort Sumner, NM)
Next up, the Steers play the Ropes Eagles (Ropesville, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 8. Robert Lee will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Eagles come into the bout with a 10-1 record after their 73-31 non-league win over Whiteface (Whiteface, TX).
