The Westlake Thunder basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Brighton Bengals to 54 in the Thunder non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thunder now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cedar Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Westlake will meet a Aviators team coming off a 57-46 non-league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT). The Aviators record now stands at 1-1.

The Bengals (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Skyridge (Lehi, UT). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Skyridge ran past Farmington (Farmington, UT), 57-56, in a non-league contest.
