Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Riverton Silverwolves (Riverton, UT) and the visiting Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), saw Riverton's basketball squad hold off Westlake by a tally of 65-64.

With the victory, Riverton improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Silverwolves travel to East (Salt Lake City, UT) to play the Leopards in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Leopards come into the challenge with a record of 5-4.

Next up, the Thunder play the Herriman Mustangs (West Herriman, UT) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 81-71 non-league loss to Mater Dei (Santa Ana, CA).
