Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Westlake Thunder (Saratoga Springs, UT), 74-72 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Copper Hills upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Pass Christian (Pass Christian, MS) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 14. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 8-3.

Next up, the Thunder play the Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Aviators go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 57-46 non-league win over Hillcrest (Midvale, UT).
