Utah High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge nudges Copper Hills

In Tuesday's league outing, the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) basketball squad edged the host Copper Hills Grizzlies (West Jordan, UT), by a count of 61-56.

The Sentinels (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bingham (South Jordan, UT). The Miners go into the 6A Region 2 outing with a 10-10 record. In their last outing, Bingham was tipped by Riverton (Riverton, UT), 68-65, in a league outing.

The Grizzlies now hold a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Corner Canyon for a 6A Region 2 outing on Friday, February 9. Copper Hills will clash with a Chargers squad coming off a 56-45 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Chargers record now stands at 13-7.
