Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Global Concepts Gators (Lackawanna, NY) and the host Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines (Buffalo, NY), saw Global Concepts's basketball squad hold off Buffalo Academy of Science by a count of 40-39.

With the victory, Global Concepts upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Cardinal O'Hara (Tonawanda, NY) to play the Hawks in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Cardinal O'Hara won 88-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Christian Central Academy (Williamsville, NY)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Gow Ravens (South Wales, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 11. Buffalo Academy of Science will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
