New Mexico High School Basketball - Chaparral knocked off by Silver
December 8, 2023: Silver City, NM 88061 The Silver Fighting Colts basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Chaparral Lobos to 43 in the Fighting Colts non-league triumph on Friday.
The Fighting Colts now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New Mexico Military Institute for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Silver will meet a Colts team coming off a 46-42 non-league win over Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Colts record now stands at 3-1.
The Lobos (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lordsburg (Lordsburg, NM). The Mavericks enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Lordsburg was outscored by New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM), 46-42, in a non-league contest.
