The Decatur Central Hawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Roncalli Royals to 50 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.

The Hawks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Indianapolis Lutheran for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Decatur Central will battle a Saints team coming off a 55-47 non-league loss to Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN). The Saints record now stands at 1-1.

The Royals (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Beech Grove (Beech Grove, IN). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
