Kansas High School Basketball - Frankfort holds off Wabaunsee
December 8, 2023: Alma, KS 66401 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Frankfort Wildcats (Frankfort, KS) and the host Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS), saw Frankfort's basketball squad hold off Wabaunsee by a tally of 46-42.
With the victory, Frankfort improves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Valley Heights (Blue Rapids, KS) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Valley Heights won 44-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Republic County (Belleville, KS)
Next up, the Chargers confront the Rock Creek Mustangs (St. George, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 15. Wabaunsee will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record.
