The Holmes County Blue Devils basketball team scored 38 points and held the host Ponce De Leon Pirates to 33 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Devils now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bethlehem for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Holmes County will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 34-33 non-league win over Poplar Springs (Graceville, FL). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-0.
