December 8, 2023: Sergeant Bluff, IA 51054 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Jefferson Yellowjackets (Council Bluffs, IA) and the host Sergeant Bluff-Luton Warriors (Sergeant Bluff, IA), saw Jefferson's basketball squad overcome Sergeant Bluff-Luton by a tally of 55-44.
With the victory, Jefferson improves its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets host Sioux City East (Sioux City, IA) to confront the Black Raiders in a Missouri River challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Black Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Sioux City East won 77-39 in their recent non-league challenge against South Sioux City (South Sioux City, NE)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders (Sioux City, IA) in a Missouri River challenge, on Tuesday, December 12.
