Michigan High School Basketball - Notre Dame Prep nips Loyola
December 8, 2023: Pontiac, MI 48340 Notre Dame Prep Fighting Irish (Pontiac, MI) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Loyola Bull Dogs (Detroit, MI), 76-69 in a league bout.
With the victory, Notre Dame Prep upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Fighting Irish travel to Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Monday, December 11. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 2-2. Grosse Pointe South won 73-52 in their recent non-league bout against Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI)
Next up, the Bull Dogs play the Greenhills Gryphons (Ann Arbor, MI) in a Catholic Intersectional I bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Loyola will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Gryphons come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 62-24 non-league win over Roeper (Birmingham, MI).
