Minnesota High School Basketball - Pierz tops Royalton
December 8, 2023: Pierz, MN 56364 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Pierz Pioneers (Pierz, MN) and the visiting Royalton Royals (Royalton, MN), saw Pierz's basketball squad knock off Royalton by a count of 59-48.
With the victory, Pierz upgrades its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN) to play the Rangers in a AA Section 7 challenge on Friday, December 15. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Crosby-Ironton won 74-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Chisholm (Chisholm, MN)
Next up, the Royals play the Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted Lakers (Howard Lake, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Royalton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 65-25 non-league win over Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN).
