North Carolina High School Basketball - South Caldwell nips West Caldwell
December 8, 2023: Lenoir, NC 28645 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the South Caldwell Spartans (Hudson, NC) and the host West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), saw South Caldwell's basketball squad hold off West Caldwell by a tally of 82-80.
With the victory, South Caldwell improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Maiden (Maiden, NC) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Maiden lost 61-43 in their recent non-league challenge against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)
Next up, the Warriors confront the Hibriten Panthers (Lenoir, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. West Caldwell will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 65-36 non-league loss to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC).
