California High School Basketball - Arvin knocked off by Highland
December 8, 2023: Bakersfield, CA 93306 The Highland Scots basketball team scored 25 points and held the visiting Arvin Bears to 8 in the Scots non-league triumph on Friday.
The Scots now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Independence for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Highland will meet a Falcons team coming off a 37-22 non-league loss to Centennial (Bakersfield, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 7-3.
The Bears (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against Taft (Taft, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Taft was outscored by Independence (Bakersfield, CA), 40-13, in a non-league contest.
