The Leesburg Yellow Jackets basketball team scored 83 points and held the visiting Central Bears to 8 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host East Ridge for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Leesburg will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-28 non-league loss to Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.

The Bears (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL). The Hornets enter the 4A District 9 contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Weeki Wachee triumphed over Hernando (Brooksville, FL), 54-25, in a league contest.
