Indiana High School Basketball - Norwell holds off Columbia City
December 8, 2023: Columbia City, IN 46725 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN) and the host Columbia City Eagles (Columbia City, IN), saw Norwell's basketball squad hold off Columbia City by a tally of 45-44.
With the victory, Norwell improves its record to 9-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Woodlan (Woodburn, IN) to confront the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Woodlan lost 47-44 in their recent league challenge against Bluffton (Bluffton, IN)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Warsaw Tigers (Warsaw, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Columbia City will attempt to improve on its 9-1 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 68-31 league win over Plymouth (Plymouth, IN).
