The Elmore County Panthers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Thorsby Rebels to 40 in the Panthers non-league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Presbyterian for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11.

The Rebels (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Holtville (Deatsville, AL). The Bulldogs come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Holtville edged Central (Hayneville, AL), 47-15, in a non-league contest.
