The West Texas Comanches basketball team scored 37 points and held the visiting Groom Tigers to 31 in the Comanches non-league triumph on Friday.

The Comanches now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Follett for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. West Texas will battle a Panthers team coming off a 43-40 non-league win over Miami (Miami, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 7-5.

The Tigers (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Sunray (Sunray, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league contest with a 9-8 record. In their last contest, Sunray nudged Tulia (Tulia, TX), 52-36, in a non-league contest.
