North Carolina High School Basketball - Harnett Central overwhelmed by Westover

December 8, 2023: Fayetteville, NC 28303

The Westover Wolverines basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the visiting Harnett Central Trojans to 22 in the Wolverines league victory on Friday.

The Wolverines now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Trinity Christian for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Westover will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 71-33 league win over Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-4.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC). The Spartans come into the non-league contest with a 0-6 record. In their last contest, Smithfield-Selma was routed by North Johnston (Kenly, NC), 54-14, in a non-league contest.
