Missouri High School Basketball - Mercer overwhelms Tri-County
December 8, 2023: Mercer, MO 64661 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Mercer Cardinals (Mercer, MO) and the visiting Tri-County Mustangs (Jamesport, MO), saw Mercer's basketball squad wallop Tri-County by a tally of 71-34.
With the victory, Mercer improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Grundy County (Galt, MO) to confront the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 15. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Grundy County won 49-11 in their recent non-league challenge against Bevier (Bevier, MO)
Next up, the Mustangs confront the St. Joseph Christian Lions (St. Joseph, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Tri-County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 63-25 league win over North Harrison (Eagleville, MO).
