Iowa High School Basketball - MOC-Floyd Valley holds off West Lyon
December 8, 2023: Orange City, IA 51041 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) and the visiting West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA), saw MOC-Floyd Valley's basketball squad hold off West Lyon by a tally of 50-47.
With the victory, MOC-Floyd Valley improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Dutchmen travel to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA) to confront the Warriors in a Siouxland challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Warriors come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Sioux Center won 52-16 in their recent league challenge against Sheldon (Sheldon, IA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Central Lyon Lions (Rock Rapids, IA) in a Siouxland challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. West Lyon will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 5-0 record after their 56-26 league win over Boyden-Hull (Hull, IA).
